hiskey Co. began like many craft distilleries, out of pure love for whiskey. Orlin and Brett are two best friends that have always enjoyed drinking whiskey together. Not much different than most any whiskey drinkers we’d guess. With former lives in the corporate and big business world Orlin and Brett took a leap that many are too afraid to make. They decided to follow their dreams and open a distillery in Woodenville Washington.
Orlin and Brett have never been shy about why they choose Washington State for their distillery. They say that Washington is an ideal place for distilling due to its pure ingredients, pristine water, and unique aging conditions.
Woodinville is known across Washington State for their unique and very good Headlong White Dog Whiskey. This whiskey is made from a true bourbon whiskey mash and is un-aged leaving it clear as water but full of flavor. The Beverage Tasting Institute even gave them an exceptional review and a 92 point rating. We would also like to add that Woodinville offers an Age Your Own package where you get the chance to take their White Dog Whiskey and age it yourself! But don’t stop looking there. Woodinville also distills Peabody Jones Vodka which is delightfully smooth, with hints of butterscotch and vanilla, and several aged whiskeys including a bourbon whiskey and an American whiskey, Both of which you should treasure if you find!
So what does Woodinville have in store for us in the future? Orlin and Brett have announced the release of two new whiskeys their 100% Rye whisky and a Mashbill No. 9 bourbon. Both to be released in 2012 and both I’m sure to be sold out the same day they are released.
